| Teri Hanes, our
founder and owner, is a Web Designer, Developer and started the business
when her husband retired and dragged her along to the piney
woods of east Texas. It is difficult to find programming jobs in
a rural area. She did not want to do a long commute of about 60
miles one way to get a job, so she started Hanes Originals. She found that web sites were needed as the town
just down the road, Jefferson, TX is a large bed and breakfast
community and has a great deal of tourism. Today Hanes Originals likes to count many of these businesses as their clients. James Gambill, our Perl and C programmer is also a Unix/Linux Systems Engineer. He handles the Network for Hanes Originals and makes sure it is up and running 99.9% of the time. Merlean Thompson, studied commercial art under Larry Kitchen, muralist and President of Commercial Art at Kilgore College. She continued her fine art studies with nationally renowned portrait artist James E. Tennison.
